Plugin Space is a macOS application developed to help users scan, organize, and manage plugin files on their system. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Crash Reports & Analytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. This helps us understand how the app is used and identify issues to improve stability and performance. Firebase may collect device type, operating system version, app version, and anonymized identifiers. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected through these tools.
2. Plugin Metadata
Plugin Space uploads anonymized plugin metadata (e.g., plugin name, version, file type, and system location) to our private server. This information helps us maintain and enhance plugin compatibility, support features like duplicate detection, and provide update suggestions. The data does not include user-created content, personal files, or identifying information.
Plugin Space integrates with Firebase (by Google) for analytics and crash reporting. Firebase may collect and process data as described in its Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable measures to protect the data collected by Plugin Space. All transmitted plugin metadata is sent over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS). No personal data or documents are transmitted or stored.
Plugin Space currently does not provide an in-app option to disable crash reporting or analytics. All data collected is limited to anonymous usage metrics and error diagnostics, used strictly to improve the app's quality and stability.
